Chilli Crab and Mussels

I am a big fan of chilli crab and chilli mussels, to get both in one meal is almost nirvana for me.

Nothing like getting messy with a well-cooked crab, these blue swimmer crabs are delightful and the mussels were plump and perfect!

Claypots Seafood Restaurant in Barkly Street, St Kilda is one of Melbourne’s destination seafood restaurants. Owner Neelam Sami is much beloved in St Kilda as are her awesome crew in the kitchen and wait staff and also the shining soul of our Viv Vital!

One of my all-time favourites Claypots has also managed to survive this 2-year lockdown and has been offering a limited menu for pick up or takeaway, I believe you can find them on Ubereats now also.

Take advantage of home delivery before and after the lockdown finishes

Claypots Paella
I was too late for the Paella pic, OMG, it is definitely a favourite!
Claypots-Calamari
Claypots Calamari

As we approach the end of the lockdown I suggest you start booking now to enjoy their exquisite full menu. They have an outside courtyard and ample space inside to help cater for your re-emergence from your homes into this gastronomical wonderland of fish and crustaceans…let alone the molluscs!

Address: 213 Barkly St, St Kilda VIC 3182
