Hugo Race launches his new album Once Upon A Time In Italy at George Lane, Melbourne, Friday 19 August 2022, in trio with Michelangelo Russo and Georgia Knight.
Hugo recently returned from a 25 date Italian tour together with his band Fatalists. They recorded Once Upon A Time In Italy at long distance during the lockdown years then reunited on the road in April to perform the songs live for the first time. Hugo Race Fatalists originated in Italy in 2007 and have released 5 albums and one EP. Once Upon A Time In Italy has a companion EP of 4 songs in Italian language versions. The album is released by Italian independent label Santeria Records/Audioglobe and will be available in Australia through MGM Sydney.
