Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his father's publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry.

Meet First Nations multi-disciplinary creative Nicole Monks of Warjarri Yamaji Dutch & English heritage in an intimate conversation with Linden Director Melinda Martin. Nicole will discuss her large-scale commission birli nganmanha (eating together) that features crockery and cutlery made from traditional materials found on country.

There will be opportunities for you to ask questions and get involved.

Linden New Art in partnership with Design Fringe and Craft Victoria as part of Craft Contemporary presents a special professional development session around responding to a design brief. This is a unique opportunity to hear from industry professionals on the various aspects to consider when responding creatively to a design brief, and how to get your project or idea over the line. Our exciting panel will feature Ella Saddington from multidisciplinary design studio Us From Space, furniture designer Thomas Lentini, and Elishia Whitchurch, Design Principle at UAP, facilitated by Linden New Art Director Melinda Martin.
