SUN + WHISKEY + MUSIC!

Linden New Art is excited to invite you to our new summer pop-up bar, Gospel Sundays. Over four Sundays we are channelling St Kilda’s music and community history and turning our yard into a place to come grab a drink, catch some rays, and hear some tunes.

We have partnered with our good friends at The Gospel Whiskey, who will be selling a range of their signature whiskey-based cocktails, and Live N Local, who like us, are keen to bring the joy of live music back to our community.

So, grab your family and friends, head down Acland Street, take a seat or roll-out your picnic rug, and enjoy all that is great about summer – sun, whiskey, and music!

EVERY SUNDAY FROM JANUARY 15TH – FEBRUARY 5TH, 12.30pm – 3pm.

UNREMEMBERED HISTORIES > Leonie Leivenzon

Exhibition Dates: January 12th – February 12th

Photographs document evidence of having been there, of the existence of a moment. What happens, however, once the person whose moment is being captured is no longer there? Do the images still hold their memories, or do they become merely another object to be discarded?

These are some of the questions raised by Unremembered Histories, the latest exhibition project by Leonie Leivenzon, whose practice involves collecting abandoned imagery such as VHS tapes, slides, and photographic prints, altering the material, and merging them with household objects and other familiar forms.
