For young people run by young people.
Half an hour of movement, games, activities, and general joy on Zoom.
Facilitated by the cast of The Mermaid. Join us every Tuesday for half an hour as we move our bodies.
This week Theo Boltman and An Dang will run the session.
Theo is a 15 year old performer, activist and ballet dancer. They have performed since 2017 around Australia and Europe. They started their activism in 2018 through their volunteer work with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, School Strike 4 Climate and Melbourne Youth for Refugees. They also produce a podcast called Beyond the Echo Chamber.
An is an actor, dancer and singer with a background in circus where she trained with the National Circus of Vietnam as a contortionist. An has a passion for both theatre and film and is currently undertaking training at institutions across Melbourne such as Melbourne Actor’s Lab and MTA, while also studying languages at university.
Facilitated by Allegra Di Lallo, An Dang, Theo Boltman, Casper Plum, Flora Feldman, Marshall Morgan, Asha Randall-Sheppard, Ella Simons, and Frankie Willcox.

A cooking contest with a twist!
Come! Bring some drama and make reality tv (zoom) history.
Led by teaching artist Loukia Vassiliades, a qualified actor and experienced teacher online and offline. Lou is passionate about sparking a unique creative contribution and joy through exploring, nurturing and connecting.

Against all odds they made this smash hit ‘Episode One’ in 2020 as a co-production with La Mama for Kids Online and support from Creative Victoria and City of Melbourne.

HYPERLOCAL now accepting EOIs from Victorian based artists!
Inviting artists to work ‘hyperlocally’ with Performing Lines, and presenting partners Abbotsford Convent, Dancehouse, Darebin Arts, and The Substation. Work can be new, re-imagined, physical, and/or virtual. Successful artists will be given time, space and resources.
BRUNSWICK DESIGN DISTRICT’S MAKING SPACE RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Applications close 6th October
Making Space will offer a residency at one of these partner venues – Blak Dot Gallery, BRUDI (Brunswick Design and Innovation Centre),
Brunswick Library, Brunswick Town Hall (Seat at the Table), Coburg Library, Siteworks and Schoolhouse Studios.
Open to individuals and groups in the arts and creative industries, a variety of spaces are on offer to suit different practices.
Each residency includes the use of a space for 1-5 months duration and a small stipend for the resident of $1,000 to support the
development of a creative project or idea.
Brunswick Design District (BDD) is a partnership between Creative Victoria, RMIT and Moreland City Council.
Residencies will take place from December 2021- 3 June 2022.
