As the holiday season approaches, we all find ourselves searching for the perfect gift for those special people in our lives. This year why not consider an original artwork from the upcoming Linden Postcard Show as a distinctive and cherished present? With over 1,000 works to choose from, there will be something for everyone on your list.

While your selected artwork will find its forever home at the end of the exhibition, you can still present it with our special gifting option. Simply select ‘gift’ during checkout, and we will email you an e-card featuring an image and information about the artwork. This way, you can share the joy and anticipation of the upcoming addition to their art collection.

Make this holiday season memorable with a gift above the ordinary. You will not only be gifting a unique and meaningful artwork, you will also be supporting living artists and contribute to the vibrant artistic community at Linden.

P.S. Set your alarm! Artworks will be available for purchase from 1PM on the 9 December, both online & in gallery.

Hope to see you at the opening,
The Linden Team

YIRRKALA SCHOOL POSTCARDS

As part of this year’s Linden Postcard Show, we are thrilled to be working with and supporting students from the Yirrkala Bilingual School in North East Arnhem Land.

Throughout the exhibition a limited number of distinct postcard packs – one made by primary school students, the other by secondary students – will be available for purchase. All funds raised will go directly to the school, supporting its ongoing work in maintaining a nurturing environment for their talented students.

LINDEN FOYER EXHIBITION

Two large-scale abstract sculptures of lines and forms stand In a galley space surrounded by white walls. The sculpture situates on the left is in chocolate black, and the one on the right is in butter yellow.

LAUNCHING ON 9 DECEMBER 2023

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Foyer Exhibition Program with the presentation of two sculptural works by Caleb Shea. This program continues our commitment to exhibit the best of contemporary art by leading Australian artists. It will see our foyer become an additional exhibition gallery, transformed periodically by works that engage with the space and architecture.

Caleb Shea engages with the history of modernist abstraction through his large-scale sculptural objects. His neo-formalist sculptures celebrate form, line and phenomenology, placing the spatial experience of the audience with the work at the core of his practice. Caleb’s two works, Untitled (Butter Yellow) and Untitled (Chocolate Black) will be on display from 9 December 2023 to 11 February 2024.

Caleb Shea is represented by Lon Gallery, Melbourne.
